Ecosystem/Biogeochemistry Lab

The Park Ecosystem/Biogeochemistry (PEB) Laboratory focuses on the carbon cycle of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and environmental management of greenhouse gas emissions. Current projects address how human-induced environmental changes, such as climate change and water pollution, affect riverine fluxes of organic carbon and greenhouse gases in East Asian watersheds including the Han River and the Mekong River. We are also interested in integrating multidisciplinary approaches to ecosystem-level management of greenhouse gas emissions toward mitigating climate change.
